Persona Profile

We believe that the digital age is affecting young people (alpha generation ) because of overreliance on digital devices from a very early age, often unsupervised. As they get older, they don't develop the needed skills to communicate with others or even complete tasks. Their attention spans are significantly worse than older generations, making it hard for them to participate in activities that involve dedication or take longer time to finish. It also hugely affects their behaviors and motives in education, leading to teachers complaining about newer students' performance dropping. The constant habit of mindless scrolling for a small child starting from just as soon as they are able to hold a phone is destroying a whole generation and putting their and our future at risk. We think this problem must be resolved in order to avoid future complications of children developing serious issues, even if they were meant to be healthy and have natural talents that mustn't be wasted for some ''cheap dopamine''. We believe that we as an earlier generations should change the attitude of some parents that think of phones as free and 24/7 available nannies for emotionally neglected children, and educate them on the dangers of this mindset.
The problem is the unawareness of parents who are raising the so called "alpha generation" kids. We believe and have first hand experience with kids around us that the digital age is taking over the childhoods of children, and it's affecting them in a malicious way.
We would like to find a way to educate parents about the ways that their actions are affecting the future generations and them. Also, we would probably find some kind of method to fix and give a kickstart to the skills (or lack of skills) that need improvement by paying extra attention to kids with severe problems.
By doing this we could change the mindset of parents and fix the problems of kids early on, so that they can get help in developing their skills and discovering their talents.
Further actions could prevent a whole generation from going down and they could secure a future and space for them to grow humanity.
