We have chosen to tackle the problem of climate action due to the increase in extreme weather conditions and the destruction of habitats. This negatively impacts people from all around the world as it interrupts their daily hobbies. Extreme weather conditions such as storms can lead to school closures which have a negative effect on young people's education. It can also impact young peoples hobbies when sports activities are cancelled due to poor weather conditions and water logged fields. It also negatively impacts on biodiversity. We feel this is a major world problem which if improved could contribute to better quality life. We have thought about planting trees on the school grounds to provide habitats for wildlife. We have also thought about educating young people on ways in which they can look after the environment. This could be delivered through a climate action module in schools. Positive habitats could also be promoted.
