The fear of AI replacing jobs is a massive and stressful problem facing workers like Stephen today. This issue is important because it threatens not just income, but a person's entire sense of stability and future. Stephen's anxiety about losing his money, falling into debt, and potentially losing his relationship is deeply personal. This technological shift creates mental distress and feelings of powerlessness. We must tackle the economic and ethical questions around AI, ensuring workers can adapt and society remains fair. This problem is worth solving to create a future where innovation doesn't automatically mean poverty. My goal is to work on policies that secure workers' futures during this rapid change.
